Steep Current is a New Orleans iced-tea brand for people who drink it cold. We pick loose-leaf blends with big, fruit-forward flavor, pack them in small batches, and name them after the streets we love.

Built for cold brew

Most iced tea starts hot and ends up watery. Ours doesn’t. Every blend is chosen to cold-brew overnight in the fridge — smoother, never bitter, no syrup needed. Drop the tea in water before bed and wake up to a pitcher that tastes like the fruit on the label.

Big flavor, easy living

We like tea that doesn’t ask much of you. It started with Magazine Mango, a lightly sweetened, caffeine-free mango-and-pineapple blend — and the lineup has grown to six street-named teas plus a New Orleans Iced Tea Flight so you can taste them all. Most have no added sugar, and every label tells you exactly what’s inside.

Our blends come from trusted American tea suppliers; we choose them, pack them, and ship them from New Orleans. We build for porch weather, slow afternoons, and the kind of thirst only a Gulf summer can produce. Down here, iced tea isn’t really a drink — it’s a survival strategy.
