Steep Current is a New Orleans tea company for people who drink it cold. We pick loose-leaf blends with big, fruit-forward flavor, pack them in small batches, and name them after the streets we love.

Built for cold brew

Most iced tea starts hot and ends up watery. Ours doesn’t. Every blend is chosen to cold-brew overnight in the fridge — smoother, never bitter, no syrup needed. Drop the tea in water before bed and wake up to a pitcher that tastes like the fruit on the label.

Big flavor, easy living

We like tea that doesn’t ask much of you. Our first release, Magazine Mango, is a lightly sweetened mango-and-pineapple blend that’s caffeine-free — just as good at noon as it is at midnight. More streets are on the way.

We build for porch weather, slow afternoons, and the kind of thirst only a Gulf summer can produce. Down here, iced tea isn’t really a drink — it’s a survival strategy. So we made one worth keeping in the fridge all season.
