Loose-Leaf Black Tea, Smooth Iced or Hot

Real Ceylon black tea with a clean caffeine lift — gentler than coffee, made for morning and afternoon. Two street-named ways to drink it: Prytania Peach brings ripe peach to a Southern iced glass, and Royal Street Crème pairs bright bergamot with soft vanilla — drink it hot, iced, or as a creamy iced tea latte.
Black tea is the backbone of Southern iced tea, and Ceylon is the classic choice for it: smooth, bright, and clear in the glass. Ours skip the sugar — no added sweetener in either blend — so what you taste is the tea and the fruit. If you like your glass closer to the coffee end of the day, this is your shelf; a black iced tea carries meaningfully less caffeine than the same glass of iced coffee, with none of the bitterness when you cold brew it.
That’s the trick with black tea over ice: cold brew it. Steeping overnight in cold water pulls the flavor but few of the tannins, so you get a smooth, low-bitterness glass with no cloudiness — no hot side required. About 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of water (chart in the per-gallon ratio guide), 6–8 hours in the fridge, strain, ice. More on the method in cold brew tea vs iced tea.
Both black teas come in the New Orleans Iced Tea Flight if you want to taste them against the fruit tisanes.
