Peach black iced tea is a smooth Ceylon black tea with ripe peach — caffeinated, no added sugar, built to cold-brew overnight or brew hot and pour over ice.

Prytania Peach is our peach black iced tea — a real loose-leaf black tea with ripe peach, built for the classic Southern glass. Smooth Ceylon black tea, soft peach, and a clean tea finish. Caffeinated for a morning or lunch lift, with no added sugar.

It’s named for Prytania Street, the quiet garden blocks Uptown. This is the one for people who want a real iced tea — a little fruit, a clean caffeine lift, and none of the syrupy bottled stuff.

Peach Black Iced Tea, Loose-Leaf and Built for Cold Brew

Tastes like

Smooth Ceylon black tea with ripe peach and a light floral fruit note, finishing clean. Fruit-forward but still unmistakably real tea — no added sugar, so you decide how sweet it gets.

What’s in it

Ceylon black tea, peach pieces, apple pieces, marigold flowers, and natural peach flavor. A caffeinated loose-leaf black tea — real tea leaf, no added sugar. Blended in the USA.

How to brew it

  • Cold brew (recommended): 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water (about 2 Tbsp of leaf per quart). Steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice. Cold brewing keeps a black tea smooth and low in bitterness.
  • Hot, then iced: 1.5 tsp per 8 oz, just-off-boil water (~212°F), steep about 3 minutes — don’t over-steep a black tea or it turns bitter — then chill and serve over ice.
  • Make it fancy: add a lemon wheel, or pour over ice and sweeten Southern-style to taste.

How much you get

Brews about 7 glasses per ounce, hot or cold (approximate — varies with how strong you pour):

  • 2 oz: ≈ 15 glasses — try it.
  • 4 oz: ≈ 30 glasses — keep it in the kitchen.
  • 8 oz — best value: ≈ 60 glasses, about 7–8 pitchers — stock the fridge.

FAQ

Is Prytania Peach caffeinated?

Yes. It’s a real black tea, so it’s caffeinated — a clean lift that’s gentler than coffee, ideal for morning or lunch. For an evening glass, reach for one of our caffeine-free fruit teas.

Can I cold brew it?

Yes, and it’s the easiest way to a smooth glass. Use 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water, steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice.

Is it sweetened?

No. There’s no added sugar in the leaf. Pour it over ice straight, or sweeten it Southern-style to taste.
