Royal Street Crème is our bergamot vanilla black tea — a smooth Ceylon black with bright bergamot and soft vanilla, our New Orleans take on the classic cream Earl Grey. Elegant enough for a morning cup, easy enough for an afternoon iced tea latte. Caffeinated, with no added sugar.

It’s named for Royal Street and its iron galleries — the dressed-up blocks where the city slows down and looks good doing it. This is the classic in the lineup, balancing all that fruit with something a tea drinker reaches for every day.

Bergamot Vanilla Black Tea, Smooth Hot or Iced

Tastes like

Bright bergamot citrus and soft vanilla over a smooth Ceylon black base, with a creamy finish. Rounded and elegant — no added sugar, and the “crème” is a vanilla note, not cream.

What’s in it

Ceylon black tea, cornflowers, oil of bergamot, and natural flavors (vanilla). A caffeinated loose-leaf black tea — real tea leaf, no added sugar, no dairy. The creamy character is the vanilla flavor, not cream. Blended in the USA.

How to brew it

  • Hot: 1 tsp per 8 oz, water at ~206°F, steep 3–5 minutes.
  • Iced tea latte: brew it double-strength, pour over ice, and add a splash of milk or oat milk — sweeten lightly if you like.
  • Cold brew: 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water, fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and serve over ice.

How much you get

Brews about 7 glasses per ounce, hot or cold (approximate — varies with how strong you pour):

  • 2 oz: ≈ 15 glasses — try it.
  • 4 oz: ≈ 30 glasses — keep it in the kitchen.
  • 8 oz — best value: ≈ 60 glasses, about 7–8 pitchers — stock the fridge.

FAQ

Is Royal Street Crème caffeinated?

Yes. It’s a real black tea with moderate caffeine — a smooth morning or afternoon cup, gentler than coffee.

Can I make an iced tea latte?

Yes. Brew it double-strength, pour over ice, and add a splash of milk or oat milk. The bergamot and vanilla hold up well against a little cream.

Is it sweetened?

No. There’s no added sugar, and the “crème” is a soft vanilla note rather than cream or dairy. Sweeten to taste if you want.
