The New Orleans Iced Tea Flight is an iced tea flight of all six Steep Current teas — six 1 oz pouches, made for cold brew, fridge pitchers, and hot afternoons. Like a wine flight or a beer flight, but for iced tea: brew the lineup side by side, pour over ice, and taste your way to a favorite — mango, blood orange, strawberry, peach, watermelon, and bergamot vanilla.
It’s the easiest way to meet the lineup — and the gift for anyone who swears they’re “not a tea person.”
An Iced Tea Flight of Six New Orleans Teas, Built for Cold Brew
What’s in the box
- Magazine Mango — mango pineapple, caffeine-free (lightly sweetened)
- Burgundy Blood Orange — blood orange hibiscus, caffeine-free
- St. Charles Strawberry — strawberry hibiscus, caffeine-free
- Prytania Peach — peach black tea, caffeinated
- Tchoup Watermelon — watermelon hibiscus, caffeine-free
- Royal Street Crème — bergamot vanilla black tea, caffeinated
Six 1 oz pouches — four caffeine-free, two real black teas. Magazine Mango is lightly sweetened; the other five have no added sugar.
How to brew it
- Cold brew (recommended): 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water, steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice.
- Hot, then iced: brew at the temperature on each pouch, then chill and serve over a full glass of ice.
How to run the flight
Treat it like any tasting flight: cold brew two or three teas at a time in separate jars, line up the glasses over ice, and taste them side by side. Start with the black teas (peach, then bergamot vanilla), move through the fruit teas, and keep notes on the pouches — the one you re-brew first is your answer.
How much you get
Each 1 oz pouch brews about 15 glasses — roughly 90 glasses across the whole flight (approximate, varies with how strong you pour).
FAQ
What is an iced tea flight?
An iced tea flight is a tasting set of several iced teas served side by side — the same idea as a wine or beer flight, applied to tea. Instead of committing to one flavor, you brew small amounts of each, pour them over ice, and compare. This one is a six-tea flight: every Steep Current blend in a 1 oz pouch, all built for the same easy overnight cold brew, so the flavors are the only variable.
What’s the difference between the teas?
Four are caffeine-free fruit teas (mango, blood orange, strawberry, watermelon), and two are real caffeinated black teas (peach and bergamot vanilla). All six are built to cold brew and pour over ice.
Is this a good gift?
Yes — it’s the whole collection in one box, so it works for someone new to loose-leaf tea or anyone who wants to try the full lineup before picking a favorite.
Can I cold brew the whole set?
Yes. Every tea in the flight uses the same easy method: 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water, fridge overnight, strain, and serve over ice.
