Blood orange hibiscus tea is a caffeine-free blend of tart citrus and deep red hibiscus — Burgundy Blood Orange is ours, made for cold brew and hot New Orleans afternoons. Tart orange, deep red hibiscus, and a clean rose-hip finish — bright, refreshing, and a little more grown-up than basic fruit tea. No caffeine, and no added sugar.

It’s named for Burgundy Street, down in the quiet end of the Quarter where the light goes deep and red in the late afternoon. Cold brew it overnight, pour it over ice, and let the color do the talking.

Caffeine-Free Blood Orange Hibiscus Iced Tea, Built for Cold Brew

Tastes like

Tart orange and deep red hibiscus with a soft rose-hip finish. Naturally tart and fruit-forward with no added sugar, so it’s bright and clean straight over ice — sweeten it only if you want to.

What’s in it

Orange, hibiscus, rose hips, and natural orange flavor. A caffeine-free loose-leaf herbal tisane — no tea leaf, no caffeine, no added sugar. Blended in the USA.

How to brew it

  • Cold brew (recommended): 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water (about 2 Tbsp of leaf per quart). Steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice.
  • Hot, then iced: 1.5 tsp per 8 oz, just-off-boil water (~212°F), steep 5–7 minutes, then chill and serve over ice.
  • Make it fancy: garnish with an orange wheel, or top with sparkling water for a quick mocktail.

How much you get

Burgundy Blood Orange brews about 7 glasses per ounce, hot or cold — the red deepens the longer it steeps (approximate; varies with how strong you pour):

  • 2 oz: ≈ 15 glasses — try it.
  • 4 oz: ≈ 30 glasses — keep it in the kitchen.
  • 8 oz — best value: ≈ 60 glasses, about 7–8 pitchers — stock the fridge.

FAQ

Is Burgundy Blood Orange caffeine-free?

Yes. It’s a caffeine-free herbal tisane with no tea leaf, so it works any time of day — afternoon, evening, or a late porch sit.

Can I cold brew it?

Yes — that’s how it’s built. Use 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water, steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice with an orange wheel.

Is it sweetened?

No. There’s no added sugar — the tartness comes from hibiscus and orange. Add honey or a squeeze of citrus if you like it sweeter, or drink it straight over ice.
