Watermelon hibiscus iced tea is a caffeine-free herbal blend of juicy watermelon, tart hibiscus and cranberry, with no added sugar. Cold-brew it overnight, pour it over ice, and add lime and mint for a watermelon hibiscus drink that holds up in a pitcher all day.

Tchoup Watermelon is our caffeine-free watermelon hibiscus iced tea, made for cold brew, lime, and a backyard cooler. Juicy watermelon over tart hibiscus and cranberry, finished with rose petals. Bright red, caffeine-free, and no added sugar.

It’s named for Tchoupitoulas Street — locals just say “Chop” — the long riverfront run on the working edge of town. This is the fun one: the pitcher tea that disappears fast on a hot day.

Caffeine-Free Watermelon Hibiscus Iced Tea, Built for Cold Brew

Tastes like

Juicy watermelon flavor over tart hibiscus and cranberry, finished soft with rose petals. Bright red and refreshing with no added sugar — built for ice, lime, and mint.

What’s in it

Apple pieces, hibiscus, rose hips, raspberry leaves, cranberries, rose petals, and natural watermelon flavor. A caffeine-free loose-leaf herbal tisane — no tea leaf, no caffeine, no added sugar. Blended in the USA.

How to brew it

  • Cold brew (recommended): 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water (about 2 Tbsp of leaf per quart). Steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice.
  • Hot, then iced: 1.5 tsp per 8 oz, just-off-boil water (~212°F), steep 5–7 minutes, then chill and serve over ice.
  • Make it fancy: add lime and mint, or build a no-booze cooler with sparkling water over a lot of ice.

How much you get

Tchoup Watermelon brews about 7 glasses per ounce, hot or cold — bright red and built for a hot day (approximate; varies with how strong you pour):

  • 2 oz: ≈ 15 glasses — try it.
  • 4 oz: ≈ 30 glasses — keep it in the kitchen.
  • 8 oz — best value: ≈ 60 glasses, about 7–8 pitchers — stock the fridge.

FAQ

Is Tchoup Watermelon caffeine-free?

Yes. It’s a caffeine-free herbal tisane with no tea leaf — a family-friendly summer pitcher, morning through evening.

Can I cold brew it?

Yes — that’s how it’s built. Use 1.5 tsp per 8 oz of cold water, steep in the fridge 6–8 hours or overnight, strain, and pour over ice with lime and mint.

Is it sweetened?

No. There’s no added sugar — the cranberries and hibiscus keep it tart and bright. Add lime, mint, or a little honey if you want.
